The Book of I Samuel (Part 2)

We apologize for no podcast in OT survey last week, but this is a continuation of our study in the book of I Samuel. As always, there are so many lessons to be learned from this book, and there are many pictures of Christ in this book, including the extraordinary example of David. If We Faint Not

Galatians 6 is the passage for this message. If we are going to "continue" in our walk with Christ, we must learn to "faint not". How do you do this? By spending time with the One Who has all strength and power! Listen to this message, as there is much time spent in His Word dealing this subject.

We can see that David had complete trust in God when he said this! This was in reference to Absolom, his son that wanted him killed. But David had trust in God to keep him safe, therefore he had no fear of his son! Please listen to these powerful truths pulled out of God’s Word!

They Forsook All and Followed Him

Peter had some complications with his trust in Christ, and this would be a revealing and proving time for him! But we find that in the end, Peter realized that his Master always knows best, and he forsook all, and followed Him.

The Book of Judges

While the Book of Joshua was a book of victory, Judges is a demonstration of how horrific it can be when a nation does "that which is right in their own eyes".
